The black and white fabric-covered cord not only powers the lamp but adds to the design, visibly running up to the boom arm and connecting the arm to the suspended lamp shade. The short drum shade measures 20'' in diameter and is made of beige linen for a textured look. A white diffuser ensures soft and even lighting from a 100W bulb.
